Socio-Economic Empowerment

ASEED also has as an objective; to empower and promote sustainable economic independence/ livelihoods for women and youths through the enhancement of modern social, cultural and agricultural practices. This objective is achieve through the following interventions: + Empowering women and youth groups in sustainable agriculture + Provision of farming tools and farm inputs e.g. fertilizers, seeds + Scholarship awards in primary and secondary schools + Donation of learning material to primary and secondary schools + Empowering women and youth groups on IGAs + Vocational and technical training to youths and women + Registering youths and women in vocational training Centres + Community based rehabilitation for PWDs + Functional literacy with women’s groups + Support to Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVCs); etc
