Provision of school supplies to ASEED OVC’s from Bum sub division
For its OVC support program ASEED provided both financial and material support through school enrolment and school supplies to one of its OVC’s by name Nafisatou Dahiru from Konene. She was fourteen years old and was a drop out from school for the past 4 years because the family’s primary source of income was from pastoral farming though upon completion from primary school she was awarded an honour roll certificate.
ASEED met with her during the medical outreach carried out in January in Konene and arrangements were made for her to get in contact with ASEED. During the month of August arrangements were made for her to come up to Bamenda town as educational donation, the necessary school supplies and support was provided for Nafisatou Dahiru back to school as well as possible retention and completion through secondary school and high school.
